Since 2020, thanks to our Award-Winning, Visionary Leader, Siri Hibbler, we have grown from a nascent Chamber of Commerce to a full staff of expert advisors serving businesses across the entire state of Illinois.
Since 2020 Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce has been a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the local business community. We are a group of business professionals who are passionate about promoting economic growth in the area.
We offer a variety of programs to help local businesses succeed, including mentorship programs, business planning workshops, and marketing seminars, business workshops, access to capital, and business expert advising. Our goal is to provide the resources and support that businesses need to thrive.
We work closely with a variety of partners, including local government agencies, economic development organizations, and community groups. By collaborating with these organizations, we are able to have a greater impact on the local business community.
An organization filed a petition in 2021 and tried to get their name trademarked and our name canceled. When they could not succeed, they fraudulently used our corporate Name to obtain a principal mark, stating on their application that their organization is AKA Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce.
Much research was done by us, by the USPTO, and by the State of Illinois prior to awarding the Trademark of our Name to us. This fraudulent organization has played a paper game and modified the name of one of their companies launched in 1997 and replaced the name to make it look as though their chamber was in business since the 1990s. Always remember entrepreneurs that registered papers with your designated state don't lie, Every dissolved company and name change is registered. This fraudulent organization will be made to pay for the problems they inflicted upon our brand and our member companies.
Our Committees are in the process of raising as many funds as possible to help with this fight that we are prepared to take to Federal Courts. We invite you to help with our fight with a donation to pay our Legal team. Feel free to call 312.970.9036. Prayers are sufficient as well.
