ILBCOC Member Event Advertising Policy

As part of our commitment to supporting and promoting our members, the Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce (ILBCOC) provides opportunities for members to share their upcoming events with our network through our official newsletter, which reaches over 120,000+ entrepreneurs, executives, and community leaders.

• Only current ILBCOC members in good standing may submit events.
   
• Events must align with the Chamber’s mission of promoting business, economic development, and community advancement.
   
• Events must be professional in nature (business, networking, education, community-building, etc.). Political rallies or events conflicting with Chamber-hosted programming will not be accepted.
   

• All members receive 1 complimentary event spotlight per year in the newsletter.
   
• Corporate/Chairman’s Level Members may submit up to 3 complimentary event spotlights per year.
   
• Additional event placements are available at a discounted member rate of $50 per issue.
   

• Event submissions must be received at least 2 weeks before publication.
   
• Space is limited; placements are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
   
• Each listing will include:
   
  • Event name, date, time, and location
     
  • Brief description (max. 75 words)
     
  • Link for registration/tickets
     
  • Member business name/logo

• or a flyer provided by the member
   

By advertising your event in the ILBCOC newsletter, your business will:

• Gain exposure to over 120K+ professionals and community leaders
   
• Build credibility by being featured alongside Chamber news and initiatives
   
• Drive ticket sales, attendance, and brand awareness
